Exhaust on a older scooter Giantco {{forumTopicSubject}}

Hello , I am new here so I bought the old scooter Giantco Stealth type HY50QT-10 what ever that means. The thing is I don't know anything about scooters so I need a bit of an advice here. I think its too lound maybe because the exhaust is too old or broken idk so I was thinking if i get a new one and mount it would it improve the noisy to make it at least a bit less horrible by changing to this one https://speedline.dk/udstoedning-1/udstoedning-tecnigas-silent-pro-s-tg-030750511?gclid=EAIaIQobChMImYntl8Lb7wIVEYR7Ch2WqQgXEAEYASABEgImwvD_BwE also what kind of tools will i need ? maxi to monza
Is it hard to fit a maxi cylinder on a monza? Isnt the angels on the exhaust and inlet diffrent? I Hope you understand what i mean =)

#3 1. apr 2021 If the problem is the exhaust, then it should fix the problem. The only tool you need is a socket wrench and/or a ring fork wrench. It's really not that hard. For a beginner it can take about 10-20 minutes. Just remove the bolts, remove the exhaust and replace it with the new exhaust.

#4 1. apr 2021 If the acooter is just old, then it may only need a new gasket. I would replace that before the new exhaust. The gasket is about 20dkk

#5 1. apr 2021 As Vlad said, maybe you should try and replace the gasket. Would be a shame to buy a brand new exhaust instead of spending 20dkk on a new gasket.
